BO, Obama's lap dog said...that's "B" "O" as in Bill Owens

I was going to do up a long and detailed piece on Bill Owens today, but then I saw a recent statement and realized I could sum him up in one pithy argument. In the absence of having any substantive arguments for why voters in NY’s 23rd should vote for his candidacy as opposed to leading candidate Doug Hoffman, Owens decided to make today’s race about Rush Limbaugh. Today, Bill Owens made a statement regarding Limbaugh’s Scozzafava’s remarks yesterday. Limbaugh is quoted as saying of Scozzafava:

“Guilty of widespread bestiality — she has screwed every RINO in the country”

Owen’s responded by saying, “Doug Hoffman and his supporters have sunk to a new low today. There is no excuse for this kind of shameful rhetoric and Doug Hoffman ought to denounce Limbaugh immediately.”

If I were Hoffman, I’d be asking Owens why he is not stumping to have Obama apologize and denounce half of his Czars and associates for the same reasons. For example, we never did get an apology from the President for Van Jones. Do I need go into his comments? How about Pelosi, Reed and other congress members? When is the left going to start apologizing for the left?

Bill Owens...just another slick and slimy lawyer. Apparently the only kind of beast suited to thrive in Washington.

tL - your point is well noted! When is the next radio show coming out? I'm getting withdrawl!

Klik - Disappointing, but also a good dry run. We can see what the strengths are and what our weaknesses are and if we've learned from it, we'll be strong next year.

It's facinating how the Dems are quick to jump on us for what the deem questionable content, but this administration is full of questionable content -- no apologies from them. Their hypocrisy isn't even surprising any more!

And thanks for the compliment! You are more than welcome to list my blog. It's encouraging to hear from other bloggers. Your blog is great as well, keep writing!

I don't think they really want an apology. They want to tie their opponents to Limbaugh, who most people do not like.

Right - I've got your site up and will continue to follow you. It's really almost how the left has established the premise to most arguments. A reporter actually approached Hoffman with the statement above and was asked if he would denounce Rush. As I understand it, Hoffman hesitated. Thanks to the media these days, you have to think twice about defending Rush Limbaugh. However, why does any politician need to have an opinion on anything Rush says?

CJ - Yup, I believe that was the strategy. What did you think of my counter strategy? Do you have one better?
